My transcription is stuck — what do I do?
Transcription typically completes within a few minutes depending on audio length. If a job has been processing for more than 15 minutes, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, email us with the title of the stuck recording.
Which audio formats are supported?
E-clair supports MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and most common audio formats. Video files (MP4, MOV) are not currently supported for upload, though audio from web links and podcast episodes is extracted automatically.
Which languages can be transcribed and translated?
Transcription supports nearly all widely spoken languages — the language is detected automatically. Translation is powered by DeepL and covers all languages DeepL supports.
How do I add a podcast?
Tap the Subscriptions section on the Library screen and browse or search for a channel. You can also add any podcast by pasting its RSS feed URL directly.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app to permanently remove your account and all associated data. You can also email support@e-clair.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and we will process it within 30 days.
