How to learn a language from podcasts
A podcast you already enjoy is the best material to study from — you have context, you care about the topic, and you will come back to it. Here is how E-clair turns any episode into a study session, step by step.

Add the podcast
Search for a show by name, or paste its RSS feed, and subscribe. New episodes appear as the feed updates.

Transcribe an episode
Open the episode you want and tap Transcribe. E-clair produces a word-level transcript in the background — you can leave the screen and come back to it.

Read along with the audio
Follow the transcript as it plays, word by word. Slow the audio down, loop a phrase, or send it back to re-hear anything that went past too fast.

Tap any word for its meaning, or press and hold for the whole phrase. The original stays in place, so you keep your bearings in the audio.

Save the words worth keeping
Send a word or phrase to your Notebook. Each one is anchored to the exact moment you heard it, so you can jump back to it in context later.

Review with flashcards
Practise what you saved as flashcards — recognise it, or type it out and see exactly what you missed. This is what moves a word from “heard once” to “known”.
